Which Design Service is Right for You?

 

Are you interested in hiring Liz Powell Design to make your home dreams come true? First off, thank you, and we can’t wait to work with you. But if you aren’t sure yet which service is quite right for you, this blog post is for you. 

Today I’m going to give you the basics on our three different services so you can find the right one for you. Each of our services can be catered to the needs of your project, budget, or personal preference, but these overviews will give you an idea of where to start.

NEW BUILD FULL SERVICE DESIGN

This is our most comprehensive service. Our Full-Service design is exactly that…a complete start to finish design for your new build home or large scale remodel.

We start with your established floor plan or work with an architect to draw up a floor plan from scratch. We always work hand in hand with your architect or draftsman to make sure every inch of your floor plan suits your preferences and is up to code before we even get started.

From there we design all interior and exterior spaces. You will of course get final say on each design decision, but we will help you create a cohesive and timeless design you’ll love for a lifetime. During the design process you’ll receive a design board and 2D drawings of each space. 

I firmly believe all home projects go best when everybody involved works together as a team. I provide design binders for you, my team, and your builder with all of the design and spec information. That way every party involved in your special home project is always up-to-date with the latest information. 

I’ll also meet with you and your builder onsite as needed to ensure the design is being carried out the way we’ve all planned.

This is a turn key service. We make the process smooth and enjoyable and in the end we’re elated to give you the keys to your beautifully designed home.

DESIGN CONSULTATION

Our Design Consultations offer our clients the chance to meet with one of the members of our team and ask all of your design questions. Nothing is off limits! You can ask design questions related to any project or any project in any stage.

One of my favorite parts of the Design Consultation is that is can happen anywhere. We can come to you and see the space in person if that feels right. Or if you aren’t local, we can meet with you via Zoom. Our Zoom meetings have been really effective so if you aren’t in Cache Valley, don’t let that stop you from booking a Design Consultation!

Once you’ve booked a Design Consultation we’ll arrange and hour meeting time with you (or longer if you’d like!). During the meeting we’ll give you our undivided attention to address any and all design concerns you have.

VIRTUAL DESIGN

Booking Virtual Design with Liz Powell Design is the perfect solution for anybody with a do-it-yourself attitude.  From start to end this process takes about 3 to 4 weeks, all done via email.

To start, you’ll pick the room or rooms you would like for us to design. We will take the measurements of the area and get to shopping for you! We mock up a digital design board with direct links to all of the products we suggest for your room. We will do one our of revisions to make sure you love everything.

Pricing for this service is per room, so this is a perfect service for anybody working on a budget. Once we’ve done the revisions and our designs are set, you’ll receive the layout and all shopping links. How or when you finish the room is then up to you!
