Trust is at the heart of everything we do here at Liz Powell Design. It takes a great deal of time and money to build a dream home from scratch, and you deserve to have that investment honored.

Our team values getting to know our clients and vendors well. We like to know who we’re working for and with because we believe those trusted relationships build better homes. We have vetted many local vendors over the years, and we have maintained relationships with them for the benefit of our clients.

Many of our vendors are local to Cache Valley, where our company is based. Working locally allows us to meet with these vendors frequently! When they get new products, we go into their offices or warehouses and see those products firsthand. This helps us stay up-to-date on everything we recommend to our clients; you’ll never be shown a sample of something we haven’t seen and loved first!

Another reason we recommend our favorite vendors is that we know your home will be built right the first time. We have worked with many vendors, and we only recommend people we know will provide quality work without being micromanaged.

CONTRACTORS

Stone Gate Homes are a dream to both build and design with. The owner Steve, has been building custom homes for over 30 years. I’ve yet to work with a contractor who is so knowledgeable, transparent and pays as much attention to all the little details as Steve does. He believes in being honest, on budget, on time, and in listening well to their customers. You can see some of their recent projects (including the stunning Hobbit door from our European Dreamin’ house) on their Instagram.

We recently worked with Legacy Homes of Idaho on our Temple View project, and they did incredible work! Our business has been expanding outside of Utah, and we love having vendors we can trust, wherever our clients choose to build. Legacy Homes aim to establish personal relationships with their customers, making them a natural fit for our preferred vendor list. CABINETS & COUNTERTOPS

Premier Cabinets Utah has been building custom cabinetry in Northern Utah since 1998. Their Instagram is full of inspiring projects, including a few you may recognize from our portfolio!

Evolution Design Inc. is our go-to countertop source for all Northern Utah and Southern Idaho homes. They have an incredible inventory and kind employees. See some of their work on Instagram.

STONEWORK

If you’ve ever admired the stonework in any of our homes, it most likely came from Coldwater Stone. They do incredible interior and exterior work and treat their customers and employees so well. See more on their Instagram.

LIGHTING

We source many of our stunning light fixtures from Hudson Valley Lighting or Visual Comfort. Both companies design timeless pieces that are truly works of art. You can browse a roundup of our favorite lighting here.
