Budget-Friendly Ways to Update Your Home
We are officially three months into the new year, can you believe it? I hope you are excited about what a new year brings with the chance to start fresh, make new goals, and accomplish new things.
Here at Liz Powell Designs, we are FULL of excitement because we want to focus on helping you make your home feel fresh and new all year round. This month we are sharing how to upgrade your house with these very simple and budget-friendly tips that will work for anyone!
Tip 1: Add wall treatments
Nothing creates a statement in your home like a beautifully treated wall. This can include a bold paint color (we are loving greens and blacks right now), a beautiful shiplap or board and batten wall, or some gorgeous wallpaper that will make your home really pop!
tip 3: UPGRADE YOUR LIGHTING
A new light fixture makes your home look infinitely more amazing. Focus on your entryway, the pendant lights above your island, your kitchen table, and your bedside table. A bold light fixture in these areas of your home will stand out to visitors and make your home look gorgeously upgraded.
These three tips are so simple pack a serious punch of design power. Plus, they all work well with anyone's budget. A little bit of time and effort can make all the difference in your home to make it look and feel like a custom, beautifully upgraded home. We promise if you add these small touches to your home, you will love your home even more than you already do, and so will everyone else.
TIP 2: REPLACE BATH MIRRORS
Take down those boring square mirrors everyone has in their bathrooms and replace them with beautiful accent mirrors. They will not only bring your home décor together, but beautiful accent mirrors will make your bathrooms look and feel instantly upgraded.
